Lori accepted a position with our family. She came to our house the first day and spent time with us and our son and then didn't showed the following day. She disappeared with no notice or explanation. Our son took to her and she seemed to be happy. Lori even stated she felt this was a good fit prior to leaving the first day. Lori was completely unresponsive by phone, text and email. I even wrote her and asked for an explanation prior to writing this review. I was giving her a chance to explain herself so I wouldn't have to write this negative review. She never replied but we've noticed from her Sittercity profile that she logs into Sittercity daily. I did tell Lori we were going to run a background check at the end of her shift...I can't help but feel maybe something was going to come up on the report and she didn't want to deal with it (Just my guess). If she felt it wasn't a good fit---that is ok...we were only asking for respect, honesty and dignity by letting us know. We both work so this left us in a horrible bind.
