Hello parents! My name is Allison Mc Daid, and I'm looking for a full time nannying position. I am originally from Elmhurst, but I recently just finished up a year living and working abroad in Spain as an English language teaching assistant. I am currently working with an Elmhurst family with three kids. They are in the process of finding an au pair, so I am on the hunt for a new position. I have been working with children since I was 12 years old and have worked with numerous families, in a daycare, and as a teacher. A little bit more about: I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2018 with a degree in Health and Human Physiology on the Health Promotion track. I have a keen interest in health, and wellness and I try my best to live an active lifestyle, which means lots of walks and Read more healthy snacks for your family! But some of my favorite memories with my babysitter growing up were baking treats, so I'll make sure to have a healthy balance! I have a clean driving record and will have full access to a car for the summer. I love Chicago in the summertime and would like to help your family experience it, as it has so much to offer! Although I am not bilingual, I have quite a good grasp of Spanish and would love the opportunity to help your child build their Spanish vocabulary this summer :) I look forward to hearing from you!
