I am a 21 year old college student who has been babysitting since age 12. Over the past 9 years, my child care experiences have included caring for a 2-month-old baby, and children from the ages 2 to 7. I have been Irish Dancing for 14 years and I have taught the beginner dance class for 3 years. Through this experience, I have gained the ability to organize, instruct, and motivate a group of preschool and elementary children. Also, my last two years of high school I was selected to be an adaptive PE leader with the special needs students at my school. I have also volunteered at various organizations that provide services to children and adults with special needs. Therefore, I have had extensive experience working with peers with special needs and have a passion for special needs children. Last summer, I was thrilled to be a camp counselor.
