My name is Kylie Beck and I am a 23 year-old student at DePaul University. I have recently been hired as an Intern at O'Connor Casting for the summer, and I am currently looking to nanny outside of this position. I will be working Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I will be available to nanny on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I have currently been occupied as a student and part-time employee at the DePaul Athletic Center, so the last nanny position I held was in 2013. I nannied for a beautiful 2-year old girl, from June-August, 8 hours a day, 4 days a week. Although it’s been 3 years since my last official position, I have since babysat on-and-off for multiple families in my spare time. I was also a camp counselor for two summers at Valley Lo Club in Glenview IL, which further engraved in me the obedience and capability needed to handle a large group of children. We were very fortunate to have Kylie last summer (2013) to be with our then 20 months old daughter Rosie. From the beginning (interview), she left a good impression on us. She was cheerful, honest, and easygoing. Before, during and after the interview, not once we saw her talking her phone out. My husband who worked in the cooperate world commented that he rarely met with anyone who didn't cling on their phone. Believe or not, it was one of the main reasons that we hired her on the spot because it showed she cared about us and this job. For the two months, she and Rosie were buddies. Kylie loves to be on the go, which fits my daughter's personality. She took Rosie to the beach, parks, swimming pool, classes, ice cream, and just to be out! They goofed around; they laughed; and they had so much fun together. There was not a day that we regretted hiring her. In addition, Kylie was always on time, which was very important to working parents. It also showed another good quality of her. We kept in touch even after she went back to school. We would have hired her again this summer if I didn't quit my job and stay at home now. Just love this girl!
