I have been a swim instructor for about 2 years now, before that I was a lifeguard at a very fast paced water park. Since I am still in a water facility I am kept up to date on my lifeguard and CPR certifications. I have a lot of experience with children, I started babysitting when I was 13 for families in my neighborhood and took a class on how to be a safe and fun sitter through my high school. With my swim instructing I am with children a lot and I get to build trust and relationships with a lot of my students which is the most rewarding thing I have ever done! I am currently also in school on track to get into the college of lake county’s dental hygiene program, my class schedule changes every semester but I only take 2 classes at a time.
