Hello! My name is Amber, I attend Illinois State University and am majoring in Child Development/Family Relations with my goal of becoming a Child Life Specialist! I was a nanny to a wonderful family for four years with two children, (13 & 15) and was a nanny for a short while to a family with four children, (2 mo, 3,6,9yrs) I also have experience from working in a preschool and day care setting for clinical hours for my classes as well as doing volunteer hours in the PEDs and PICu at a children's hospital. This summer I will be back in the Palatine area and am looking for a summer position (starting May 7th and ending August 13th) I am available Monday-Thursday however on Fridays and Saturdays I will be doing my practicum at the hospital and will be unavailable. Amber was a summer sitter for my then 6 year old boy and 3 year old daughter. She was extremely reliable (always on time and never out unexpectedly) and always had something fun and creative for the kids to do.
