My caregiving experience began at six years old when my younger sister was born. Since then I started professionally babysitting at 13 following my neighbors' adoption of 2 young girls. During high school, I worked at a local daycare in the infant and toddler rooms and worked with 2-3-year-olds at a Montessori school during my Master's education.
