Hello! I am going to be a senior at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where I am studying Human Development and Family Studies, but I will be home for the summer! I am a reliable and caring person with a lot of patience and a very big heart. When I watch kids, I like to keep them busy with different activities. Whether it is going to the pool, playing outside, doing arts/crafts, or enjoying a good book. I like to get to know the kids and keep them active. I have my own car, so I am able to transport your kids. I am also very comfortable having the kid's friends over during the day. I am currently looking for occasional jobs, whether it is date nights or time in the morning for you to run errands. Some of my experiences include:   College: I am currently a student Read more at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana studying Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development, with the hope of being a Child Life Specialist or a career that allows me to help children. This semester I am working in the Child Development Lab. At the lab, I work in a daycare/preschool setting with kids ranging from 6 weeks-5 years old. While I am working I help engage the kids in supervised play, read stories, and assist the head teacher. I am also involved with the National Honor Society and I joined a sorority that is involved in many community projects.   General: I have been babysitting for neighborhood families for 8 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have watched kids as young as 3 months through middle school. Having babysat for this wide variety of ages and for so many years, I have had many different experiences. While babysitting I have done a range of different activities including participating in constructive play, preparing meals, and bedtime or naptime rituals.   Thank you!
