Hi! My name is Angie and I'm 29 years old. I moved from the Midwest to Phoenix in January 2020. I have over 15 years of cumulative childcare experience through babysitting, nannying and day care opportunities. I am comfortable with all ages, but especially enjoy infants & toddlers. I was a nanny to a sweet boy from age 3 months to 2 years as well as a sassy girl from 9 months to toddler. I love the different milestones infants and toddlers grow into. From the years 2017-2019, I was a social worker. I worked in low-income neighborhoods with expecting mothers and mothers of children ages 0-3, so I was able to keep up my child education through that work. I am well versed in childcare safety measures and have continued to feed my interest in childcare over the years. I have been CPR certified 3x, but haven't updated it since I was a social worker, so it is expired. Not looking to renew unless the family requests/pays. **I just saw my 2/5 review from 2015. Looks like the opportunity was upset that I accepted another position. Please reconsider the above experience vs the 2015 review. Thanks! I work M-F as a Recruiter so cannot work 7-3pm.

Angelica arrived to the 5:15pm interview on time. She interviewed very well and was seemingly very enthusiastic about our open position caring for our 5 year old daughter. She said the hours were perfect for what her needs were while attending college. We ended up offering her the position and she accepted. We also told her we would need someone on occasion for date nights. She was definitely interested in those additional hours too. The very next morning at 7:30am, she texted that she took a position more suited to her. I texted her back and asked if she was still interested in the occasional (we have several date night caregivers we use) date night care. I told her if so, we would text her as needed to see if she's available. She did not respond. She also never mentioned during the interview process or when she accepted my offer that she was considering other opportunities. I'm shocked at this sudden change in her and I think she had us all fooled for sure regarding her being up front, genuinely interested in the position, honest and responsible, none of which turned out to be the case. Waste of time.
