Hi, my name is Tatum Snyder and I am originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin. I grew up with two little brothers who I constantly helped care for while we grew up. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 with a bachelors degree in Science-Business, pre-medicine. In 2016 I completed my Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University. I am currently a first year medical student at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. Last summer I served for a family with two elementary aged children. For 5 years prior, I have served as a nanny for 4 boys (Ages: 8, 6, 3, 1). Previous to this family, I babysat for a family with two boys and two girls. I have been trained in CPR and first aid for my role as a Resident Assistant in my dorm where I cared for and served Read more 40 college age women. I have also documented many volunteer hours working with children with cognitive and physical disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, ADD, severe cognitive impairment, brittle bone, and visual and hearing impairments. I love working with children! They are constantly exploring and testing what the world has to offer, and I enjoy helping them explore and find joy in the world around them. I strive to make everyday I babysit or nanny a fun, new experience by creating crafts, games, etc. I also enjoy cleaning (my apartment is spotless!) and doing laundry. Aside from care and cleaning, I also have a lot of experience in tutoring including a variety of ages from 5 years-old to college-aged in all basic elementary subjects and specifically in math, science, reading, writing, and theology. I tutored a 4th grade girl for a year in undergraduate and worked as an athlete tutor. I also proofread and check English papers. I am a very active person who loves to run, swim, bike, hike, and play golf, basketball, football, volleyball, and baseball. I am constantly reading and playing board games. I would love to help your children enjoy an active and fun summer!
