I do not have experience as a nanny, except for the care of my three children. I have thirty-years of teaching middle school and high school teaching. I have also coached a variety of girls sports. My last experience was at Pleasant Plains Middle. I taught there for 16 years in the areas of physical education and 7/8 science. Prior to working for Pleasant Plains School District, I taught and coached at Rochester High School. I hold a valid Illinois Teaching Certificate, K-12 physical education and 6-12 life-science. My educational background includes a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education and a Master Degree in Teacher Leadership. My hobbies include being very active. I work-out at FitCLub 3-4 times/week. I love playing and watching almost any sporting activity but I also enjoy down time where I enjoy reading and conducting scientific research. I also love dogs and cats. I currently have two Read more dogs, a older black lab and a very friendly German shepherd. We play ball and go for walks almost everyday. When I was teaching these two were my stress relief partners. We also have three cats. As for my home life, We live just west of White Oaks Mall on 6 acres of wooded land. As I indicated, I three children, Michael age 29, Kara age 27, and Jenni age 23. I also play an active role om the care and development of my 4 year-old granddaughter. Her and I together enjoy playing Uno, school, and so much more. My husband is the owner of a local automotive service center. We have been married for thirty-two years now but we have been together since our high school days. As a family we like to go out to eat, visit my son who lives near St. Louis, going to watch the St. Cardinals but I am also a Cubs fan. I love the sport of baseball so I cheer for all. We also vacation in Florida about everything three years. We are a simple basic family who enjoy spending time together and laugh at the little things in life. As for our faith, we attend West Side Christian Church every Sunday.
