Hello, I am 55 years old have raised two wonderful children who are now 27 and 31. My husband and I have been married 32 years and moved to O'fallon, Il from the Chicago area 7 years ago. I have been a paraprofessional for 8 years working with special ed students - Autism, multiples sclerosis, down syndrome, learning disabled, behavior disorder, aspergers. I love what I do and enjoy making a childs day a little better in anyway I can. I enjoy working with families and helping them and their children especially when life can be crazy and overwhelming at times. Having been in that position myself I realize how more and more families are in need of help. I come from a large family. Five brothers, a sister, 23 nieces and nephews. This is one of the reasons I am nannying. I did not have the help I wish I had while caring for them. I vowed I would help others after this experience. I am a devout catholic, attend St. Nicholas church. I've worked at Delores Moye school and district 90 as a special ed aide and in Chicago for 4 years at Grant H.S. as a Special ed aide. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and first aide as well. I presently am a sub for school district 90.
