Hi! My name is Elyse. I am currently a student at the University of Illinois where I am studying Speech-Language Pathology. I absolutely love working with kids! I have over 100 hours of volunteering experience in both public and private schools working with elementary aged students. I have gotten to work one-on-one with kindergarten through second grade students as well as students with special needs. My responsibilities during volunteering included working with children on social skills, speech and literacy skills, and playing with children during free time. During the school year, I currently care for a 9-month-old girl and 4-year-old girl once a week. My responsibilities working with these children include, preparing bottles and meals, changing diapers, playing with the girls, and getting them ready for bedtime.
