Hello, My name is Amanda. A little about myself; I am a step mom to a wonderful 7-year-old girl. I am also lucky to be called Auntie by two loving boys and a beautiful baby girl. I love being around children and being a positive active part of their life. I take great joy in watching a child learn or experience something for the first time. I was a ballet teacher for 3-8-year-old's which allowed me to hone my skills of creative structure and patience. In previous nanny jobs I liked to keep the kids busy with different art projects, trips to parks, museums and the zoo. I also took children to daily activities such as swim lessons or park district classes. I am a huge advocate of reading and feel that it is an extremely important part of childhood.
