Hello! I'm Ashley, I am finishing up more sophomore year Harper Community College and I absolutely adore kids! I am looking for families that are would be in need of a occasional babysitter approx. once a week. I am attending Harper College, studying to be a Pediatric Nurse. Ever since I was little I've always loved working with children and never thought of babysitting as a job because it's so much fun for me! I've been babysitting kids of all ages since I was in 8th grade so I have a lot of experience. I currently babysit for lots of different families of all ages and nanny for a family on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays currently. I am very active and I am always looking for fun, new things to do with kids to make sure that they are having a good time and learning new things as well. I Read more believe that babysitting or nannying is not about having a job, but having the privilege to create a relationship and special bond with each and every kid I meet and of course having a strong relationship with the family as well. A little about myself, I love basketball but I've played many sports in my past such as Soccer, Softball, and volleyball. I have two sisters, Brittany who is 18, and Katie who is 14 so I've grown up always willing to help take care of Katie and help her with anything she needs such as homework, getting her to sleep or just watching over her if my Mom was not home. I've always been told I'm great with kids. Some qualifications I have is I took a babysitting class in 8th grade in which I received a certificate for being a certified babysitter. In that class I learned a lot of helpful tips and information on how to take care of kids, have fun with them and help them in emergency situations. I am took Certified Nursing Assistant class in which I have had hours of training to be a nursing assistant so I have a lot of experience on how to take care of sick kids. Finally, my senior year I took an Early Childhood education class where I learned every thing about all ages of kids, how to keep them safe and life skills about how to take care of my own kids when I'm a mother one day. I received a credential in that class where I was certified to help teach preschool kids at my school during the day. I do have my own car and can transport your kids anywhere they need to go. I am really looking forward to meeting families soon!
