I'm a Mom of two who misses the baby phase. My eldest son is 3 and my youngest will soon turn 1, and has started feeding less frequently; I recently visited a friend with a newborn and she was having difficulty breastfeeding, and I held her baby and had the opportunity to breastfeed it and I realized I really, really miss having a little baby around. Ideally I'd like to find a baby whose Mommy would be OK with my wet nursing it but, any cute little baby would be great. I can't have my third yet safely so, I am hoping to watch someone else's. I'm big into attachment parenting, and, I guess, you would say, "alternative" parenting. We do family bed, I always tried to get my own babies on the first cry, we do a lot of baby wearing, reading, extracurricular classes (zoo, museum, Kindermusik, German lessons, Read more and violin lessons), and a lot of cuddling and group love. We do not vaccinate our kids anymore (the first one had a poor reaction to them). We do not believe in cribs. The only TV we normally do are some baby songs and lullabies around nap time, but generally we try to do more Montessori-style activities. I gave up a very lucrative job to watch my own kids, and, I'm not really into watching kids for the money, or whatnot. I kind of view raising my kids as my calling, not just a way to pass time/make money off of others, etc. You will not really find me chatting up with other Moms or taking care of myself, etc., on baby time. However, I do sometimes do laundry, and cook organic food while the kids play within my sight. Sometimes we do go buy food together and the kids check it out with me. But I try, as much as I can sanely handle, to be as involved with them as I can. We have a great toyroom, and are always adding to it. We do have 2 dogs but they stay in the bathroom. I would love to watch an infant (<12 months) in my home. I am not available to go to the home of others unfortunately. We hope to move into an actual house later this year. I'm not a perfect person, and I don't have 10 years of experience, but, I am a loving Mom whose focus is her kids. My eldest just turned 3 and reads 3 letter words, knows all the letter sounds, a few words in German, he can count up to 20 rote, and recognize numbers up to 100. He can do basic addition. He gently pets his brother and says he will always protect him, and is overall loving and kind. I am proud of the job I've done with my kids. All the best.
