I come from a large family, with 5 brothers and sisters. Almost all who have children now, so I have 6 wonderful nieces and nephews. I myself have no children, but I love children. I am proactive when it comes to planning daily activities that are mind stimulating and fun. I have been babysitting on and off since I was young. I have always been responsible and never have an issue connecting with a child. In all honesty, I just love children. I find it so worthwhile to spend my day playing games and teaching them things, and watching them learn. It's a fulfilling job that makes me feel like I'm making a difference. There's such an innocence in children and they absorb things like a sponge. And I think it's important for a caregiver to have the mindset of not only a babysitter, but a mentor or teacher.
