I have been babysitting for 8 years. I love children with all my heart and find working with them to be very rewarding. I first started by just watching my sister and a couple of her friends to eventually running her whole birthday party, the parents dropped off the kids and mine would go to a movie or send me to the park with 6 or 7 kids hyped up on sugar. My last family was a single mom with 3 kids ( 11 months, 2 years and a 7 year old) worked nights and a lot of doubles. I would stay Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon while she pulled doubles and so she could get some sleep. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, meals, changed diapers, baths, naps, homework, got them up in the mornings and put them to bed at night. On nice days I took them for small walks since Read more there were no parks nearby. Although I do not have any official certificates I have gone through culinary arts classes as well as child growth and development. I also have plenty of experience.
