Taking care of young children was a big part of my life growing up. I was always willing and excited to babysit for my neighbors as a teenager. When my husband & I first came to the U.S. in 1997, caring for a 3-year-old boy was my first job. By the time my whole family moved to Chicago in 1998, I decided to stop caring for other children for the meantime so that I could focus on my own family. Admittedly, most of my experience comes from caring for my own five children. In 2004, I got the chance to care for other children again when my own children were a bit older. The two kids were 2 and 3 years old, respectively, at the time that I started caring for them. I continued babysitting for them for the next two years until the family decided to move away from Read more Chicago. Since then, I've started my own business and thus, I only take care of children on an-occasional basis, like random date nights or weekends. After eight years, a lot of changes happened in the industry that we serve. I'm currently on leave from my small Marketing & Promotional item distribution business because most of the work is being done overseas and my partner is taking care of the rest. In addition to that, all my five children are now grown ups and I thought I would continue doing what I really love to do, taking care of children. I just finished my duty to care for an infant to a family here in the north side of Chicago, I worked for them for seven months, however it was just a part time duty ( Tuesdays & Thursdays) and am now seeking a more regular and full time commitment. A reference and recommendation letter will be provided from my recent employer.
