Hello My name is Maria I'm 29 years old, I have worked with kids all my life and it started with my 3 younger sisters. I decided I wanted to start my career watching and teaching children at Tutor Time Preschool in 2007-2011 for 40 hours a week. Working at the preschool gave me the experience I needed to watch and take care of infants and children up to 12 years of age. After fulfilling 4 years working with those wonderful children, I decided to work on my own and pursue a career in becoming a private nanny. I had cared for a family in 2012 for a year, for 60 hours a week Monday- Saturday. Until the mom decided to stay home and be more involved in her 3 children lives. My duties while looking after those three children were cooking, changing diapers (if need be) doing laundry, getting Read more the kids ready for school, driving them where they need to go etc and they trusted me in doing those tasks. From May 2012 to June 2015, I looked after twins for 3 years until they became 4 years old. My job duties with this family were quite similar with the previous family I worked for. In addition, my tasks included daily curriculum such as teaching them their letters, reading, numbers, colors, shapes, and words in Spanish as well. I was able to help improve their motor skills by doing arts & crafts daily. I spent 50 hours a week with them. As the children got older I began to drive them to the parks, take them to the Khols Childrens Museum, Botanical gardens, the local library, and local pet shops etc. the family decided to put the kids into school so my hours would be cut short. I also worked for a family recently with a 3 month old boy. I started last year when the boy was 3 months old up until he was one years old. The mom decided to stay at home and spend more time with him. I worked Monday through Friday with them, as well as occasional weekends. I would take him for walks and go to the local park.With all my previous nanny positions I would do the kids laundry as well as the parents laundry if need be. I would spray the childrens toys down and vacuum and tidy up if needed as well. I would also grocery shop for the families and run errands for them. I have no problem doing any of that :). I'm looking for date nights during the week days at this time before my full time position starts july 11th. I look forward to speaking with you! -Maria
