I can imagine looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after your child/children is no small task, and one I hope to make easier. My name is Kristy, and I would love to have the opportunity to work with you and your family. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology, and I am currently persuing my masters of social work. If there is any additional training that you prefer/require I would love to discuss that with you further. Ever since my years in high school, I have baby sat for family friends. I also currently volunteer some time with a youth group. We spend time planning and doing different activities, as well as coordinating various events and incorporating the parents in the planning process. Understanding and caring for others is what I enjoy doing and a large part of why I decided to pursue an education in a related Read more field. Also, having grown up in a loving, caring home in which my mom was always watching other's children has been a wonderful example to me. I simply love kids and helping them learn and grow and being a part of that process. Just a few things I love to do in my free time: I love to bake and cook (but really baking is where I find most of my enjoyment). I love hands on projects and crafts. I really enjoy learning and teaching.
