I have been caring for infants and children since I was a child myself. I am a senior at the University of Illinois studying Human Development and Family Studies, which has a very strong concentration in learning about child development. I will be graduating in May and my schedule until then is very flexible sinceI am only attending classes part-time. I have cared for two of my nieces multiple times a week; both of them are 2 years old and I have been actively involved in their lives since the day they were born. I have multiple years of paid experience as a babysitter and nanny. My most valuable past experience as a caretaker was being a nanny for infant twin boys from the time they were six months old until they were two and a half, at which point I moved out of town. I was able to aid Read more in their development at a crucial point in their lives and I loved the challenge and joy of caring for two babies at one time. I became very close with them and their family, which I strive for in all of my care-taking positions.
