I have been babysitting for over 10 years! I just can't get enough of it! I enjoy playing with and taking care of children of all ages, birth and up. I recently graduated Northeastern Illinois University and majored in Elementary Education. I found at an early age (of 3 as my parents told me) that my passion has always been to teach and work with children. It's my dream job! I have worked and volunteered for the SRACLC, the special recreation association of lake county Illinois. I found this experience extremely rewarding and inspiring! I worked with children with many different disabilities such as ADD, visual and auditory impairments and various forms of autism. I believ that all children deserve to be active and to achieve their individual potential In the best way for them. I do not have any children of my own, but I have one dog. She is my Read more baby for now, but I do plan on having children of my own in the future. I love to do arts and crafts, dance, play games and play outside. I'm content with helping students work on homework, and to tutor them as well. I also work as a tutor and have nannying experience.I am officially liscensed as a professional Elementary Education Teaching with endorsements in English, Social Studies and Science and a minor in English. I completed my clinicals with 2nd grade and my student teaching in 4th grade. I am willing to travel to a babysitting job and am also willing to work multiple days, weeks and be on call to help you and your family with all your needs!

We've had a great experience with Stephanie. She is outgoing, social and my kids just love her. From my first email to her, she was quick to respond, offering to come over the very next day to meet our family. She showed a genuine interest in my children, talking and laughing with them immediately. As a sitter she is punctual, reliable and responsible. We will definitely call her again!
