I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bradley University with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Spanish. This fall, I will be attending graduate school to earn my Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. I was very involved on campus as the Philanthropy Chair of my sorority and served on the executive board of a leadership honor society. Last year, I spent a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain and volunteered in a fourth grade classroom as an English Teacher. I have worked with children for the past several years. During all four years of high school, I was an assistant Sunday School teacher in the kindergarten classroom. Additionally, I worked as a Camp Counselor at Elaine Frank Apachi Day Camp for three summers. I worked with children 3-5 years old and 6-9 years old. During my Junior year of college, I was a Student Intern in the Autism Learning Center at Easter Read more Seals in Peoria, IL. I led individual play sessions to work on goals, such as communication and playing with others. This past semester, I worked in a preschool in Peoria, IL. I was in a classroom of 18 children and my role was to run developmental tests with them. I worked with all of the children on an individual basis and kept data on their progress. Working with children is something I am very passionate about and love. Therefore, my dream career is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
