I love working with kids and families. I graduated from Illinois State University in May of 2010 and have worked at KinderCare from August 2010 to January 2011. I worked at a Middle School in Naperville, and first grade in Rockford. I am currently a first grade teacher in Wood Dale. I have been a nanny and babysitting since I was 12 and would never give that up. This is why I decided to go into Elementary Education. I take school and jobs very seriously, they are my top priority. I am very organized and love to have things in a neat and orderly manor. Yet, I believe some mess is always OK. I love to have fun and be involved in many activities. Sitting around is hard for me, but sometimes we all need to rest. I love to smile and am very bubbly. This helps with children because Read more they see me as a nonthreatening person. I love to bake and cook. Kids get so much joy out of baking cookies and decorating themselves. When they see their masterpiece, their eyes light up with excitement.
