In addition to being the oldest of five children, my family fostered infants. Our home was centered around caring for children. I would often babysit for my "parent's date nights" as well as help with daily routines from feedings to diaper changes to lullaby singing. I am a junior at Wheaton College. Over the past three years, I have been an occasional babysitter for several families in Wheaton. Last summer I interned with Rwanda Outreach Community partners, where I taught a weekly Sunday School class for Toddles, ages 3-5. Each of these experiences have helped shape me into the person I am who deeply cares for children by providing them with safe, encouraging and loving environments.
