Hello , My name is Chris Marrero & I am a nanny - I am a 42 year old mother of 3 grown boys , 1 in college , 1 in the Marines & 1 high schooler home here w/me . I stayed home to raise them for 15 years & loved it ! I loved spending my days going to the park , exploring nature , teaching them how to be social w/the other kids ( sharing , waiting your turn , etc.) showing them compassion & teaching them to have compassion for the people around them , my main goal was to raise them the best I could , arm them with as much knowledge as I could so they could grow up to be successful happy people who function well in society . I also really enjoyed running the house , I am a very organized person , I Read more believe schedule & routine are important in life , for yourself & your children . I prefer to stay busy & there was ALWAYS something to do , clean , put away , etc. It really was the perfect job for me so now that I am out in the world choosing a career path , childcare just seems to be a natural fit for me, I believe you have to have a genuine love of children , respect & compassion for them & really want to make a positive difference in their lives to be in this buisness . Our children are our most precious possessions , you need to have complete confidence & trust in the person you are leaving them with when you cannot be there .
