Hello, I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to read this, and consider me for this opportunity! My name is Shelby, I am 19 years old. I am enrolled (and will be graduating this coming April) from a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) training course. I have always had a passion for caring for people and ensuring the best for them. I have previous experience being a full time nanny. A little bit about that position: I watched three girls ages: 1.5yrs, 2.5yrs, and 9yrs. One of these girls had special needs so I sat in on therapies and also practiced what she had learned outside of theses weekly sessions, through this, I picked up on some basic sign language that allows for better communication between parent and baby! I have a passion for children, especially babies as they are just so sweet. I am comfortable Read more with animals- I grew up on a farm in Indiana with several dogs, cows, pigs, etc. I absolutely loved it too! I graduated high from a private school in central Indiana in May 2015 as well. I volunteered with my school's football team for two years, and continue to volunteer off and on with my church's Food Pantry program when my schedule permits. I truly do just have a heart for people. Some things about my character: I work really well off of a daily schedule (eating, sleeping, play time, etc), I am very punctual, responsible, and I believe in doing my job with a spirit of excellence. I believe in excellent communication between parent and nanny for all things that may occur throughout a given day, and our experience working together. I also believe that forming a relationship based on mutual respect and trust between nanny and parents is a necessity!
