As a former summer nanny to 4 girls, I learned many skills that have allowed me to have a successful relationship both with the kids as well as the parents. I have learned to become extremely patient and very attentive. I have also learned that a lot of creativity is required to be successful in engaging and stimulating creative, developmental thoughts in the children. I am an incoming Junior in college, and throughout my years of university have taken several psychology courses including ones that allow me to properly respond towards wants and needs of children. I do love being active and doing activities with children as much as possible. I have volunteered in several environments that involved child care such as the YMCA kids summer camp, my church's Sunday school class, as well as my churches dance classes for kids. To add on to this, I have a 9 Read more year old sister who I have been baby sitting and helping take care of alongside with my parents. She has taught me a lot of responsibility and has confirmed my passion for working and being around children.
