I am a Child Development major with a minor in Social Work at Olivet Nazarene University. I have had a lot of experience in elementary school settings with various ages, as well as in daycare centers. Throughout my time at ONU, I have also babysat for faculty and friends in the area. Within the school setting, I have created and taught lesson plans, assisted students with help, and engaged during play times. During my time in the daycare I have lead circle times- reading books, flashcards, counting, teaching basic signs, and interacting during play. I have such a passion for working with kids and being around them. I want to help them see they can accomplish any goal they have or dream they want. They decide their future and it cannot be decided for them. I am currently certified in CPR and First Aid, Food Safety, SBS (shaken baby syndrome), Read more SIDS, and a mandated reporter.
