My name is Kara Stewart, I am 25 years old and currently a nursing student majoring in Pediatrics. I also have training and certification in CPR and First Aid. Along with 11 years of paid experience taking care of young children, ages ranging from newborns to 11 years of age. Furthermore; I currently work part time for Riley hospital in their Pediatric Intensive care Unit. Unfortunately, due to the hospitals health care cut backs, they currently aren't hiring full time in the position I desire. Therefore; I am looking to work full time and to stay in the field I've always had such great passion for. Starting at the young of 14 I use to babysit the children in my neighborhood, from there I was highly recommended to other parents, and at any given time I have had as many as 1-8 kids in my care. Even more, I also Read more have experience working with kids who have special needs. My older brother has a form of Autism called Asperger’s syndrome. He is the most smartest, brightest, fun loving person I know, and I wouldn't change a single thing about him! He's perfect just the way he is, and I'm honored to be able to call myself his sister. A few more traits about myself are, that I love to play games, outdoor activities, watching movies, can cook exceptionally well, and always do light housekeeping. Lastly, I am very outgoing, responsible, caring, kind, and love to have fun. Believing that laughter is the best medicine! I can work before and after school, weekdays and weekends, as well as some nights. My schooling is currently online, I am a student at Western Governor’s University.
