I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant seeking a summer position, as I will be beginning graduate school in the Fall. At my current position, I work with children in general education as well as those diagnosed with Down's Syndrome, Autism, and other disorders affecting communication. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross and have experience with a wide range of age groups from 1 month to 13 years old. I also have experience through a daycare where I worked as an assistant teacher and caregiver. While holding this position, I worked with newborns up to children in pre-kindergarten classrooms. During the summer, I also worked with school-aged children, providing structured and unstructured activities. I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
