I graduated from Herron School of Art and Design/IUPUI with a BFA, in December 2014. I majored in printmaking and minored in drawing. In my free time I enjoy painting, drawing, and knitting. I also enjoy showing my art at fairs, galleries, and venues in and around Indy. Another love of mine is nature. I love to go back-country camping, hiking and playing outside. I started working with children in 2010 at Meridian Hills Country Club, Kid's Club. After a year of working there, I was promoted to co-manager of the Kid's Club. My responsibilties involved planning field trips, pool visits, meal plans, scheduling and billing. It was there that I met the two children that I would eventually nanny for. Their mother offered me a job as a nanny, at which point I started watching her two children, ages 5y/o and 8m/o. My duties there included picking the kids Read more up from school, entertaining them, doing errands and other household chores, such as cooking dinner, cleaning up, and putting the kids to bed. I worked for the family part time in college; 3 days during the week and for one day on the weekend, depending on my school schedule at the time. After I graduated college I was there full time. I had to leave for a number of personal reasons. It broke my heart to go, but it was necessary for my emotional well being. I have been working at a screen printing shop since(which I trained in college for). I am unhappy with the industry. I would love to go back to working with children. My love of arts/crafts and adventuring is best fulfilled when I am working with kids.
