My past work experience consists of three summers as a staff member for Philmont Scout Ranch, a High Adventure Base Camp for youth and adults. Through this involvement, I have acquired risk management, leadership, and customer service skills. Previously, I worked as a Gymnastics coach and a Girl Scout Camp Counselor. I am familiar in creating a structured, supportive and fun-learning environment to help participants achieve life skills such as critical thinking, physical and emotional strength, independence and social interaction. While in school, I was also the Venture Crew Adviser for Happiness Bag, a facility dedicated to assisting adults with special needs in improving their quality of life. I provided safety instruction and delivering stimulating, informative program so that each individual could reach their goals in Scouting.
