I recently babysat a 1.5 and 3 year old 3 days a week. I also have experience with childcare for the Lafayette Area Down Syndrome Family Group. I also have a niece (5) and a nephew (8) that I adore spending time with and plan special activities for. During my time at Purdue University, I planned events for the Purdue Student Union Board. Through PSUB, I have had the opportunity to plan special events for kids such as Books and Chocolate Milk (an event to inspire literacy in young children), Family Day, and Breakfast with Santa. I also started a literacy event when I was in high school called "Read to Succeed". Aside from the extracurricular portion of experiences at Purdue, I received by Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences with a concentration on Speech Therapy and double minoring in Psychology and Human Development & Family Read more Studies.
