In the beginning of June, I married my husband and we just moved to Junction City/Fort Riley because of his new job in the Army. I am the oldest girl of ten children, so I have grown up taking care of multiple children at once. My four youngest siblings have Down's syndrome, so I have had over ten years of experience caring for them. I began babysitting--both typically developing and special needs children--at the age of ten, and did that quite regularly until college. I have a degree in Elementary Education, and this last school year I was a K-12 ESL Instructor/Teacher's Aide at the school I did my student teaching.
