At the age of 6, my mother was diagnosed with spinal meningitis while pregnant with my youngest brother. Unfortunately it caused brain damage and left my mother disabled. I stepped up and helped by providing assistance with my two younger brothers. Working with children became a big part of my life. I've had numerous babysitting positions, my most recent employment was an overnight child care provider. I was employed with the family from August of 2014 until August of 2016, when I made the move back to Kansas from Columbus, Ohio. In high school I participated in childhood development courses, and was employed as an assistant at a daycare facility as a junior in Parsons, Kansas. I have been CPR and first aid certified.
