I have been a nanny for a family in Manhattan for 3 years now. The kids (one boy, one girl) have gotten older, and don't need me anymore. I have worked at the Center for Child Development on Kansas State's campus. I was a student aid, working with children from infant, to kids in the 5th grade (summer program.) When I was growing up, my mother had an in-home babysitting service. From the time I was born to 6th grade she took care of children ages infant-7 or 8th grade. I helped her as soon as I was old enough to hold a baby safely.
