I love working with children. I have worked with children in some capacity since I was 14 years old. In high school I worked at a daycare center and volunteered at a gym for autistic children. In college I continued to babysit and worked as a live-in nanny for a family one week a month. When I went back to school for cosmetology, I was immediately comfortable cutting kids hair, and when I graduated I worked at a children's salon. My most recent job was working in the infant room at a Kinder Care. Some of my strengths include: integrating learning into play, encouraging literary development through reading books, writing activities, and library visits, encouraging creative expression through a variety of art projects, and integrating physical development and wellness into everyday by finding fun activities that get your child moving through out the day. I am CPR certified and have Read more first aid training through The Red Cross. My goal is to find a job where I can bring my daughter to work with me and she can grow and thrive alongside other children.
