If I sent you my resume you would see that I have 20 years experience in the cosmetic retail world. I managed approximately 35 people at a time. I am use to multi tasking and a very fast pace environment. You may wonder why I would be applying for a nanny position. I want to pursue a different career path that I feel I would be great at. I raised 2 children, Ella is 20 and Justin is 22. Both are at college. When I look back, I realize that when I stayed home with them it was the best time of my life. I never called myself a stay at home mom because we were never home. We went to play group, the park, the petting zoo, the pool, the library. I love to cook and I can clean a house better than anyone. The kids had their chores Read more and sometimes they did not even realize that they were chores because I made it a game or a contest. I am old school I guess you could say in that I believe children need to have manners and be respectful. Kids need to feel and know that they are loved and cared for. They need to know that they are important and that they matter. They need to have self confidence and I fell that they get this when they are surrounded by people who love and care for them. I don't have any professional training in this field but I would not be applying for this position if I did not feel I would be able to do this. I know that I would be an asset to your family and I would be someone that you could totally trust with your children. When you go work you need to have the assurance that you are leaving your children with someone who would take care of them as you would.
