I am currently a full-time nanny for a family of three, ages 11, 9, and 7. I have held this position for the past two years, unfortunately they will be moving out-of-stae. I am also a pre-school teacher and have taught early childhood for twenty years. While I am working as a nanny, I am completing my Master's in High Incidence Special Education, on-line at Fort Hays State University. I am in my fourth semester and will complete my degree in the Spring of 2018. I actively work with children and their families with special needs, that include: ADHD, Dyslexia, Type 1 Diabetes, Emotional/behavioral disabilities. I plan and implement schedules and interventions, as needed for the individual child. I have a working knowledge of IEP's and 504 plans. I have worked with children ages 2 to 15, as an educator, parent, coach, and tutor. I am committed to getting to Read more know the whole child and working with them at their level. I love to share in a child's learning experiences in all areas of their lives. I love to play, laugh, and enjoy life!. I enjoy being outside, playing sports, reading, cooking, art activities, and learning knew things. I love to inspire others to follow their passions as well.
