I owned and operated a very successful home daycare for 9+ years (infants, toddlers, school age kids). All the families stay with us for many years and were an extended part of our family. I have been a nanny since 2008, and have worked long-term for 3 families. My first family had a newborn baby (with them for 2+ years), the second a 2, 5 and 7 year old (with them for 2+ years), and my most recent family had kids that are now 10 and 13 (with them for 3+). I am a hands on caregiver, and get down to the child's level to play, teach and interact with them. I believe in respecting children and their abilities, as each is unique in their own way. I'm creative with learning and activities, and very patient.
