I am from a large family, 11 kids to be exact. I am the youngest of 7 biological children and then my parents adopted 4 more from Haiti. We have all been home-schooled through high school. I chose not to attend college. I am a committed Christian as is most of my family. I have tons of experience in caring for children of all ages, from newborns to older kids. Besides babysitting for numerous families throughout the years I also have 4 nephews and nieces and I spend a lot of time caring for 2 of them. I was a live-in nanny for my youngest nephew when he was an infant, he is 2 now. I have the responsibility for my sister's adopted 5 year old son a couple days a week. Getting him up, dressed, fed, entertained and then to preschool in the afternoon. My mother did daycare in Read more our home most of my life so I was always learning from her and my sisters as well as helping with the care of those kids. My first job as a nanny was only for about 6 months because the family wanted more children so the mother quit working. But I was responsible for 2 little brothers under the age of 5. I have also worked in many areas of child care in our church, camps, and community throughout my teens. I am considered to be calm and comforting to children as well as a lot of fun!! I am a very organized person and enjoy crafting and music. Probably my organizational skills are one of my strengths as well as being somewhat of a peacemaker. I am also considered to be a good driver, having had no accidents or receiving no tickets. I am a cautious driver. Most of all I have to say that I do enjoy children. They amuse me and make my life fun in ways older people cannot. They are so simple in their needs and wants and almost never hold grudges.
