I have recently retirement age and am interested in helping with children. I ran an in home day care when my daughter started school. I had toddlers and after school children. Several years later, I became aware of the need for special needs infant care. My grand daughter had just been placed in my home, so I had quit my banking job to stay home with her. I cared for only one child at a time. The length of time they were in my care was dependent on extent of the needs of the infant. I have 7 grand children. One of my grand daughters (age 16) is very unique and special. She has always required more attention than the others. There have been many challenges, I love dogs but am allergic to cats & cigarette smoke. I prefer payment in cash.
