Hello my name is Lavonda. I have worked for the past 10 years as a Developmental Therapist with the First Steps program. I have also worked as a Head Start Lead Teacher and Family service worker with WkU Headstart. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology and additional graduate work in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. As a therapist, my passion lies in working with children who are on the Autism Spectrum and those who have behavior disorders. During the past 20 years I have taught some of the most amazing children and touched some awesome families. These experiences have changed my life and each child remains in my heart.
