Hello! My name is Christina Sacca and I’m looking for a full time nannying position for the summer (beginning of May through the beginning of August). Experience: -On and off since I was 16 I have babysat/nannied for children around the Lexington area -Once in college, I took a part time job working the Kids Klub at LA Fitness. Responsibilities for this included light clean up, overseeing up to 15 children at a time (ages 6 months- 12 years of age), maintaining a comfortable/ safe environment, feeding infants, Etc.. The job was quite demanding due to the amount of children at one time. I made positive relationships with all children as well as their parents. -I have many observational hours working in a high school. I observed at Henry Clay High School to conclude if there were correlations between off-task/on-task behavior and productivity/ high work ethic within the classroom. One Read more study was observing cognitively impaired children and the other was observing children with no cognitive impairments. Volunteer work: -In high school I began volunteering at the Southland Christian church nursery -In college I began volunteering with Radio Eye. We would record ourselves while reading books. This work was to enrich the lives of the visually impaired. (All age groups) -I volunteered in the Down Syndrome Walk of Centeal KY in 2017. This is a charity event for all individuals with Down Syndrome. The experience was absolutely amazing. Future plans: -I have been accepted into the Specialist in Education: School Psychology program at Westeen Kentucky University. I will begin this fall. I plan to work in elementary Education. Certifications: I was required to become CPR certified for my job at LA Fitness. I have decided to devote my life to enriching kids lives through the school system. I have an extensive background working with children and a love for them that pushes me to attain higher education. The fulfillment that I receive from working with kids in any capacity is far greater than I could find working in any other profession. I would love the opportunity to work for some wonderful families this summer and do what I do best!
