I have been working in the developmental sciences department at the University of Louisville for nearly three years as an undergraduate student. Responsibilities have included light cleaning, changing diapers/feeding, watching kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities during testing breaks and watching the siblings for several hours at a time. Play is not only fun for the kids, but encourages grammar/language development and building cognitive skills. All of these roles transfer to being a great nanny! Additionally, pending a national-roster internship, I will have a degree in music therapy and be eligible for becoming a board certified music therapist, with most of my experience and study focused on children. I'm great with kids! Willing and able to provide some housekeeping work in addition to nanny roles (I'm unique in that I actually find cleaning stress relieving and enjoyable), have a valid drivers license, and plan on becoming re-certified in pediatric CPR Read more in early March of 2014.
