I am the mother of a child in grade school, another in high school and an adult. I have several nieces and nephews from newborn to adult. I also have many younger brothers and sisters. I have ample years of experience with children educating and loving them. While living in South Carolina, I owned and operated an in-home day care for a couple of years. This gave me the opportunity to stay home with my oldest daughter. When I was laid off due to the economy, I opened an in-home daycare. This afforded me the opportunity to be at home with my children while caring for and educating the children of others. When I closed my in-home daycare, I began working with special needs children. I am still working part-time with special needs children and will continue to do so. I make my own hours and love my job. I Read more enjoy being able to influence children in a positive manner. Watching children learn and develop socially and educationally is such a rewarding experience.
