All my life I've enjoyed caring for younger children. I discovered my passion for childcare as a five year old, when I would flock to the younger children and babies at social or family gatherings, and even when I accompanied my mom to the grocery store. I absolutely love children, and when I finally became old enough to babysit, I realized that I could harvest my passion into a career, either as a children's psychiatrist or a pediatrician. I spent the majority of my summer last year working at Children's Hour, a montessori school in Houston, Texas, where I spent 30-40 hours a week caring for at least 20 children ages 1-5. I looked forward to going to work with those children so much that I missed them on the weekends and even on summer family vacations. I've also spent a smaller portion of my last summer, and extending two Read more summers before that, lifeguarding at my neighborhood pool, where I've receiving my training in CPR and first aid. On my days off, I liked to accompany my sister on trips to the Children's Museum, the Health Museum, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science on trips she would take with two 5 year olds she nannied. Currently I'm looking to be a nanny or babysitter because I love children and am good at working with them. I am eager to start working as soon as possible. Email me if interested!
