I am a 23 year old LSU graduate. I have 4 years of experience working in childcare. I have worked for 1 year as an after- school counselor, a summer camp counselor, and youth sports coach while working for the YMCA of Acadiana. I worked for 3 years as an after-school teacher and preschool teacher for the University Methodist Church in Baton Rouge. My job duties consisted of independently managing classrooms of children, communicating expectations, providing homework help, administering first aid and appropriately disciplining. I have also been a childcare worker at The Vineyard Church of Baton Rouge. I've worked with various age groups ranging from a few months old to 14 years old. I am CPR and first aid certified and have undergone many trainings throughout my experience on appropriate supervision and medication.
